Custom elements like Adam Wallacavage’s octopus tentacle sconce in the powder room and a handmade porcelain sardine on the kitchen wall create moments of discovery throughout the space.
Despite being encouraged to demolish and rebuild, we chose to preserve much of the existing structure of the pool house and garage, balancing environmental impact with design vision—even through the challenges of COVID-era supply chain issues.
The result is a space that feels wonderfully comfortable and fresh with just the right echo of the ocean—creating a year-round retreat that transcends typical seasonal design.
